血清M蛋白检测技术在高球蛋白血症患者多发性骨髓瘤筛查中的应用
Application of serum M protein assay in screening multiple myeloma in patients with hyper-globulinemia

Abstract
Aim To explore the application of serum M protein assay in screening multiple myeloma(MM)in patients with hyperglobulinemia.Methods A total of 130 patients with hyperglobulinemia were enrolled,including 66 cases in MM group and 64 cases in non-MM group.All patients underwent immunoglobulin quantification and immunofixation electrophoresis to detect M pro-tein,and typing of immunoglobulins was performed.A total of 130 healthy controls during the same period were enrolled as control group,and quantification detection of immunoglobulins was performed.The diagnostic value of serum M protein assay in MM was an-alyzed by ROC curves.Results The levels of serum total protein and globulin(GLB)were gradually decreased in MM group,non-MM group and control group(P<0.05).The positive rate of M protein in MM group was significantly higher than that in non-MM group(P<0.001).Among the 66 MM patients,proportion of IgG type was the highest(32 cases(48.48%)),followed by IgA type(26 cases(39.39%)).There was no significant difference in distribution of light chain classifications(κ/λ)among patients with different types of immunoglobulins(IgG/IgA)(P>0.05).The predictive efficiency of both serum GLB and M protein was good in MM,and the predictive efficiency of M protein was higher compared to GLB alone(P<0.001).Conclusion Serum M protein assay is beneficial to increase detection rate of MM and save valuable time for the diagnosis and treatment of MM in patients with hyper-globulinemia.关键词
