摘要

Abstract

Diaphragm compressor is the core equipment of hydrogen and nuclear energy units in the field of green and low carbon energy,and its metal diaphragms are critical vulnerable components.During operation,the diaphragm executes reciprocating flexural motion in the cylinder,so it is mainly subject to radial and circumferential stress,leading to significant high cycle fatigue.Compared with the method to control the diaphragm stress by optimizing the cavity profile,to adopt metal materials with excellent fatigue properties is the fundamental way to prolong the service life of metal diaphragm.The tensile properties and high cycle fatigue performance of two typical diaphragm materials,namely 301 SS and 00Cr15Ni5,are tested and studied,with the results that 00Cr15Ni5 has higher elastic yield limit and better high cycle fatigue performance.Meanwhile,it is discovered that the high cycle fatigue performance of diaphragm can be further improved by water sandblasting and polishing on the diaphragm surface.The research results can provide reference for future development of diaphragm compressors with large discharge capacity and high pressure ratio.
