摘要

Abstract

To investigate the start-up characteristics of gas turbine compressor,steady 3D and 1D numerical methods were used to simulate various start-up processes of an F-class heavy-duty gas turbine compressor.The impact of closing the anti-surge blow-off valves earlier and raising the ambient temperature on the compressor aerodynamic stability was analyzed,and special attention was paid to the influence of adjusting the variable guide vanes(VGV)on the start-up characteristics.Simulation results show that closing the anti-surge blow-off valves earlier and raising the ambient temperature will lead to the increase of front-stage load and the degradation of aerodynamic stability,however,increasing the opening of VGV properly can alleviate these problems.The research findings can provide reference for design and operational maintenance of gas turbine compressors.
