Abstract

In view of inlet temperature increase in gas turbine and the problem of insufficient temperature resistance of existing thermal barrier coating materials at the temperature above 1 200℃,double-ceramic-layer thermal barrier coating materials for gas turbine are developed.The coating system is composed of both MCrAlY bond layer and double-ceramic-layer,in which the bottom of the ceramic layer is of 7%~8%YSZ material,and the surface layer is of LaMgAl11 O19(LMA)material.The sintering resistance,phase stability and thermal conductivity of LMA material are then tested,and the results show that LMA has more significant advantages than YSZ at 1 300℃.The furnace cycle test at 1 100℃and flame thermal shock test at 1 250℃are carried out on the double-ceramic-layer materials to select the best process parameters by comparing its operation life with that of YSZ coating,therefore,the blade spraying process of the double-ceramic-layer thermal barrier coating has been developed.The optimal process parameters are used to spray the double-ceramic-layer blades,and with application in actual unit,it is proved that the operation status is satisfying.The research results can provide technical support for inlet temperature increasing and efficiency improvement of gas turbine.
