摘要

Abstract

When a failure occurs on the power grid side in power plant,a significant unbalance force between the mechanical power and electrical power will be applied on the turbine rotor.To prevent the steam turbine from overspeeding,a power-load unbalance protection is usually set in the digital electro hydraulic(DEH)control system.Treatments of power-load unbalance based on DEH control system in two different types of turbines were analyzed,and combined with the actual operation of thermal power plants,it was proposed that control logic must be set separately according to instantaneous unbalance and long-term load shedding.Also,the turbine must switch to a different control mode in long-term power-load unbalance conditions.Meanwhile,a calculation and processing method for instantaneous fault on grid side was proposed based on rotor characteristic data and turbine load shedding test.The research results can provide reference for improving control and protection of power-load unbalance in different types of units.
