Abstract

The 7#main mining coal seam in Yaoqiao Coal Mine has a relatively high risk of spontaneous combustion.In order to improve the targeted prevention and control of coal spontaneous combustion,through a coal spontaneous combustion characteristics tester,the concentration of various indicator gases is measured during the temperature rising process of coal samples,and the spontaneous combustion law of residual coal at different positions of the working face is explored during the process of coal seam mining.The experimental results show that CO gas has already appeared at 70℃,and the coal bodies have started to slowly oxidize.When the temperature reaches 125℃or above,CO significantly increases,indicating that the coal oxidation process reaches the accelerated oxidation stage;C2H4 begins to appear at 100℃,and its production quantity increases overall with the rise of coal temperature.C2H2 does not appear within the experimental temperature range of 200℃.Once C2H2 is present,it indicates that coal has undergone a violent chemical reaction.A coal spontaneous combustion classification early warning system is constructed through experiments combined with on-site experience,using CO as an early indicator gas for coal seam ignition,and C2H4 and C2H2 as auxiliary indicator gases to judge coal ignition situations.
