摘要

Abstract

Manganese slag is an industrial solid waste discharged during the metallurgical process of manganese ore,containing a certain amount of iron and manganese,and has recyclable value.This article selects manganese slag from a manganese plant in Guizhou and uses wet magnetic separation to recover iron and manganese from the slag.The series of parameters of the magnetic separation process are explored,and the characterization and analysis of the manganese slag and its magnetic separation products are carried out.The results showed that under optimal conditions,the recovery rates of iron and manganese from manganese slag were 77.92%and 54.25%,respectively,and the grades of iron and manganese from magnetic separation slag were 28.82%and 8.43%,respectively;The magnetic iron,manganese ore,and non-magnetic mineral phases in manganese slag are separated and enriched under the action of magnetic and mechanical forces.
