Abstract
The importance of remote sensing technology in monitoring environmental changes and optimizing resource allocation cannot be underestimated.The main purpose of this study is to use remote sensing data to monitor and analyze vegetation cover changes in mining areas.The study focused on specific mining areas and utilized satellite remote sensing images and geographic information systems(GIS)from multiple periods to monitor and study vegetation cover changes in the area over the past decade through methods such as image classification and vegetation index calculation.The mining behavior of mines has a significant impact on vegetation coverage,and a decline in vegetation coverage and widespread fragmentation of vegetation distribution areas can be observed.However,with the promotion of ecological reconstruction,vegetation coverage has gradually increased and the ecological environment has also significantly improved.In addition,this study summarizes the driving factors of vegetation cover changes in mining areas through the analysis of the relationship between terrain and climate.These studies provide important scientific basis for promoting the protection and improvement of the ecological environment in mines.关键词
