摘要

Abstract

The study aimed to evaluate the feeding value of quinoa plants using the Cornell Net Carbohydrate and Protein System(CNCPS).Through a quantitative analysis of the nutritional components,protein,and carbohydrate fractions of six quinoa varieties,the potential application of quinoa in ruminant feed was explored.The results showed that the average crude protein content of the tested quinoa varieties was 20.61%,with Longli No.7 reaching the highest value of 21.08%.The mean neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber concentrations were 20.99%and 21.80%,respectively.Among the protein fractions,the proportion of non-protein nitrogen ranged from 5.38%to 7.91%.In terms of carbohydrate fractions,the total carbohydrate content was 71.49%to 74.79%,with LQ1661-1 and Longli No.7 showed better comprehensive performance.The study show that quinoa plants at the panicle emergence stage combine high protein bioavailability with rapid energy-supplying carbohydrates,positioning them as a novel alternative resource for high-quality ruminant forage.
