补肾通蚀丸对大鼠的急性毒性研究
Study on the acute toxicity of Bushen Tongshi Pill(补肾通蚀丸)

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of Bushen Tongshi Pill(补肾通蚀丸,BSTSP)on the acute toxicity for SD rats.Meth-ods SD rats were divided into different groups and gavaged with a single maximum volume of either 0.5%CMC-Na solution or the cor-responding concentration of BSTSP.The rats were observed continuously for 14 days,during which general conditions,body weight,signs of toxicity,and mortality were recorded.Hematological and biochemical indicators were measured,major organ tissue morphology was observed,organ coefficients were calculated,and histopathological examinations were conducted.Results No significant symptoms of toxicity or deaths were observed in any group after administration.There were no significant differences in body weight,major organs,or laboratory test results(P>0.05).Conclusion Within the dose range of 2.8 to 11.2 g·kg-1,BSTSP does not exhibit significant toxicity in rats,thus providing a basis for its medication safety in the future clinical practice.关键词
