Energy-Saving Optimization Methods for Metro Train Schedules in Fully Automatic Operation Systems

Abstract
Fully automatic operation systems,with their advantages of high intelligence,integration,and automated equipment control,are the best candidates for implementing energy-saving optimization strategies of metro trains.This paper proposes an energy-efficient optimization method for metro train schedules,focusing on reducing train traction energy consumption while maximizing the utilization of train regenerative energy.Firstly,a multi-objective optimization model for inter-station control strategies of metro trains was established,with multi-stage traction and braking distances as optimization factors,aiming to minimize traction energy consumption of inter-station operation and running time.A solution strategy based on NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm was designed.On this basis,with the goal of minimizing the total net traction energy consumption within one cycle,a multi-train cooperative schedule optimization model was established,and the second stage model was solved using a genetic algorithm.Through data simulation using the operational schedule of Shenzhen Metro Line 14,the optimal schedule obtained for both off-peak and peak periods showed an increase in regenerative braking energy utilization by 9.65%and 10.06%,respectively,and a reduction in required net traction energy consumption by 6.76%and 7.35%compared to the original schedule.The results showed that the proposed optimization model and algorithm could further improve the energy-saving performance of metro trains in fully automatic operation systems.关键词
