Abstract

During shield tunneling through uneven strata,the geological conditions are complex,the structure is subjected to large forces,and its overall stiffness is low,resulting in weak deformation resistance.Therefore,it is necessary to monitor the deformation and stress conditions of the shield tunnel to ensure the safety of the tunnel structure and operation.However,traditional monitoring methods cannot effectively monitor areas with significant structural deformation or achieve long-term health monitoring.To investigate long-term monitoring methods for structural deformation and stress of shield tunnel,this study,based on the Jiangyin-Jingjiang Yangtze River Tunnel construction project,set up monitoring points at the same cross-section as structural health monitoring.An internal force inversion analysis software of shield tunnel structure based on precision measurement was independently developed to perform internal force inversion on the field measured data,and internal force was estimated in conjunction with health monitoring data.The bending moment values calculated by the two monitoring methods were obtained.A comparative analysis was conducted on these two sets of bending moment values,and a precision measurement method for shield tunnel based on ATS laser tracking technology was proposed.The results showed that the precision measurement method was able to monitor any cross-section at any time,enabling long-term monitoring of the most critical and high-risk parts throughout the tunnel's life cycle,with an accuracy of 0.01 mm.The spatial distribution of precision measurement data aligned with structural health monitoring data,and the bending moment values were relatively close.The ratios of the maximum tensile stress to the maximum compressive stress were 96%and 90%,respectively,validating the precision,accuracy,and reliability of the measured data.This study provides a new method for long-term monitoring of shield tunnel in the future,allowing for a more precise understanding and evaluation of the structural health of the tunnel.
