Progress in research on type 2 epithelial-mesenchymal transition in tissue and organ fibrosis
摘要
Abstract
Fibrosis refers to the pathological process characterized by excessive deposition of extracellular matrix and abnormal hyperplasia of connective tissue in tissues and organs.The inducing factors of this pathological process are diverse and their regulatory mechanisms are complex.Currently,there are no effective methods for intervention in this process.Studies have confirmed that type 2 epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)plays a crucial role in the occurrence and development of fibrosis in tissues and organs.This paper elaborates on the mech-anism and influencing factors of EMT,and summarizes progress in research on type 2 EMT pathway inhibitors,natural bioactive substances,and biomaterials targeting type 2 EMT in the intervention of fibrosis and looks into future studies in this respect,in order to provide new ideas for the intervention and treatment of tissue and organ fibrosis.关键词
