Decolorization of Rose Bengal by Aspergillus flavus A5P1 and en-hanced decolorization by polyurethane foam immobilization
摘要
Abstract
The present study focuses on the optimization of decolorization conditions for dye Rose Ben-gal using the fungus Aspergillus flavus A5P1(strain A5P1).By employing immobilized cell technology,the decol-orization efficiency was investigated under different pH conditions.Polyurethane foam(PUF)was used to en-hance the decolorization process,the effects of initial dye concentration,salt concentration,and metal ion con-centration before and after immobilization were examined.The results showed that at pH 3 with sucrose and yeast extract as carbon and nitrogen sources,strain A5P1 exhibited the highest decolorization ratio for Rose Bengal.Under pH 4,PUF-immobilized system demonstrated optimal enhancement in decolorization efficiency compared to free system.When dye concentrations were 300 and 500 mg/L,salt concentrations ranged from 5 g/L to 80 g/L,Cd2+concentrations were 5 and 10 mg/L respectively,Pb2+concentration was set at 100 mg/L;PUF-immobilized enhanced system outperformed free system in terms of decolorization efficiency.PUF-immobilized enhanced system maintained good performance even under high dye concentrations and high salt conditions containing NaCl,and exhibited significantly improved tolerance towards Pb2+and Cd2+.The excellent degradation capability of strain A5P1 towards Rose Bengal suggests its potential application value in bioremediation processes involving this particular dye.关键词
