基于海关行业特色的动物检疫学课程改革和实践
Reform and Practice of Animal Quarantine Curriculum Based on the Characteristics of the Customs Industry

Abstract
With China's deepening integration with global economy,the risk to national biosecurity at border ports has become increasingly severe,consequently requiring higher competences of professionals engaging in customs inspection and quarantine in terms of specialization,diversity and interdisciplinary."Animal Quarantine Science"is a core course in the specialty of Customs Inspection and Quarantine Security,however,there are challenges in its teaching process,including a vast number of fragmented knowledge points that is difficult to address in class,scattered knowledge points causing difficulties in building high-level thinking,and difficulties in integrating a multi-disciplinary knowledge system with traditional methodologies.In order to address these issues,a comprehensive course reform was implemented through integrating specific needs of the customs industry with traditional animal quarantine knowledge,focusing on three dimensions:teaching contents,methodologies and assessment.Teaching contents were innovated in terms of syllabus redesign,project-based learning,ideological-political education integration and inspection and quarantine forums;while methodologies were tailored to trainees'interdisciplinary competencies and applied management thinking in animal quarantine.Ultimately,students'comprehensive competencies in animal quarantine were improved through an evaluation system combining formative and summative assessments.关键词
