Research Progress on Mycoplasma gallisepticum Infection
摘要
Abstract
Mycoplasma gallisepticum,as one of the common pathogens in global poultry industry,is widely prevalent around the world,especially in developing countries in southwestern Asia and southern Africa,and has been reported in the southeastern coastal,southwestern and northwestern regions of China,causing huge economic losses to the industry.The disease is mainly controlled with vaccines and antibiotics,but receiving poor effectiveness due to limited efficiency of current live or inactivated vaccines or antibiotic resistance.With the implementation of"prudent use of antibiotics"policy,it will be urgent to establish a comprehensive control system through strengthening biosafety management and developing new vaccines and effective drugs.In the paper,advances in the pathogenesis,prevalence status,diagnostic methods of Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection,as well as in researches of vaccines and preventive drugs were reviewed,and the development of new vaccines and preventive drugs was prospected,aiming to provide a reference for further research,prevention and control of the disease.关键词
