Abstract

AIM To explore the application effect of teaching management platforms,hierarchical management,problem-based teaching,and plan-do-check-act(PDCA)cycle-based multi-mode teaching and management measures in pharmacy internship education.METHODS In the study,pharmacy interns who entered the department of pharmacy at our hospital between January 1,2021,and December 31,2023,were selected as the research subjects.Interns using the traditional teaching management approach were designated as the control group,while those utilizing a teaching management platform in conjunction with hierarchical management were classified as research group 1.Additionally,interns who implemented a multi-mode teaching and management strategy,which included the teaching management platform,hierarchical management,problem-based teaching,and the PDCA cycle,were identified as research group 2.F test,Welch test,or x2 test were used to evaluate the teaching effect of the 3 groups of students.RESULTS Regarding comprehensive scores,the control group was 85.96±4.42,the research group 1 was 89.09±4.77,and the research group 2 was 91.48±3.09.The comparison among the 3 groups showed statistical differences.Regarding the overall satisfaction of interns,the mean satisfaction ratings of the control group,research group 1 and research group 2 were 38.79±4.66,41.29±4.82 and 43.80±2.43,respectively.The continuous improvement of the teaching and management measures had led to a significant improvement in overall satisfaction scores(P<0.05).A pairwise post-hoc analysis revealed that the total satisfaction score of research group 2 was significantly higher than that of the control group.Furthermore,pairwise post-hoc comparisons among the other groups did not reach a statistically significant difference.CONCLUSION The integration of diverse teaching and management approaches could enhance the overall performance and satisfaction of interns.The integration of multi-mode teaching and management measures with teaching management platform is better than the mode of teaching management platform combined with hierarchical management.
