Abstract

AIM To establish the evaluation index system of drug rationality for edaravone and dexborneol concentrated solution for injection,and to carry out the rationality analysis of clinical application based on the system.METHODS Based on the drug instructions and referred to the relevant guidelines and expert consensus issued by the Chinese Medical Association,an evaluation standard for edaravone and dexborneol concentrated solution for injection was established.The attribute hierarchy model method was used to evaluate and analyze 206 archived medical records of patients admitted to the hospital from January and February 2024 and treated with a concentrated solution of edaravone for injection.RESULTS Among the 206 medical records,74 were class A(35.92%),76 were Class B(36.89%),50 were Class C(24.27%)and 6 were Class D(2.91%).The problem of unreasonable medication mainly manifested in aspects such as medication duration,timing of administration,and medication monitoring.CONCLUSION Evaluating the rationality of medication based on the attribute hierarchy model is scientific and intuitive.The evaluation results show that there are still irrational drug use problems in the clinical application of edaravone and dexborneol concentrated solution for injection,and multiple measures need to be combined to promote rational drug use.
