From pharmacogenomics to pharmaco-spatial omics:the current status and future of precision medicine

Abstract
Pharmacogenomics aims to improve efficacy of drug therapies and promote drug safety,and represents the most successful area of translation in precision medicine.With the rapid development in techniques of multiomics such as DNA sequencing and mass spectrometry,pharmacogenomics has developed from the identification of genetic variations in candidate genes to the era of pharmaco-omics and pharmaco-multiomics.Emerging technologies for single-cell omics and spatial omics and application of artificial intelligence and big data modeling in the field have brought new opportunities and challenges for pharmaco-multiomics,which will lead to a revolution in drug development and a change in medical model.This review summarized the development history of pharmacogenomics and pharmaco-multiomics,the use of spatial omics in the exploration of disease mechanisms and identification of new drug targets,and prospected the future of pharmacogenomics in precision medicine.关键词
