Innovative digital solutions to jaw defects with edentu-lous jaw
摘要
Abstract
The prostheses for patients with jaw defects with edentulous jaw are one of the major challenges in prosth-odontics.Due to insufficient bone,soft tissue changes,unsta-ble jaw relationship and other factors,it is difficult for this type of patients to achieve good prosthetic effects.At present,the application of digital technology has made breakthrough progress in removable complete denture for edentulous jaw,but there are rare reports on its application to such kind of prostheses.The characteristics,difficulties and key points of prostheses for this type of patients were analyzed in this arti-cle,and the details and advantages of applying digital technol-ogy in these cases were discussed.Besides,a typical case treated with such prostheses assisted by digital technology was presented,in order to provide new ideas and methods for pros-thetic treatment of this type of patients.关键词
