Progress and future trend of intragastric balloon technology
摘要
Abstract
Intragastric balloon technique has been recommended by various professional societies as a medical weight-reducing method.Its weight-reducing mechanism is to reduce the effective volume of the stomach and limit the food intake by inserting exogenous fillers into the stomach cavity.At present,different types of intragastric balloons have been approved for clinical application abroad,but their position in the field of medical weight loss treatment is challenged by weight loss drugs.At present,the weight-reducing efficiency of weight-reducing drugs has overlapped with that of intragastric balloon,even exceeding that of balloon.Even so,neither of them can solve the obesity problem independently.The future development trend is to further optimize balloon products,and actively explore the combined application of intragastric balloon and weight-loss drugs,so as to further enhance weight-loss efficiency,delay weight rebound and reduce the occurrence of adverse events.关键词
