Abstract
Gastrointestinal malignancies,including esophageal cancer,gastric cancer,and colorectal cancer,constitute the most common and lethal group of diseases in China's cancer spectrum.In recent years,innovations in endoscopic technology and screening strategies have achieved remarkable results in promoting early screening and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors,with immeasurable value in improving the detection rate of early-stage cancers and reducing patient mortality.However,despite significant progress in the early diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies in China,numerous challenges and difficulties remain,such as inadequate screening coverage and compliance among the population,insufficient endoscopic diagnosis and treatment resources,and an imperfect screening technology system and reimbursement mechanism.This article aims to comprehensively analyze the epidemiological characteristics and the current status of early diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies in China,examine the major challenges currently faced,and look forward to the future trend of high-quality development.关键词
