Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of fire-dragon moxibustion combined with acupuncture in treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH)of cold-dampness pattern.Methods:116 LDH cases of cold-dampness pattern were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group,with 58 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional moxibustion and acupuncture,whereas the treatment group was treated with fire-dragon moxibustion and acupuncture.The scores of TCM symptoms,VAS,JOA and ODI,and the levels of inflammatory factors(CRP,ASO)were compared between before and after the treatment in the two groups.The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate was 98.28％(57/58)in the treatment group,which was higher than 84.48％(49/58)in the control group(P＜0.05).The TCM symptoms scores were decreased in both groups after the treatment,and the scores of lumbar pain,lumbar and knee soreness,fatigue,and fear of cold and cold limbs were lower in the treatment group than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The scores of VAS and ODI were decreased,and the score of JOA was increased in the two groups after the treatment;the improvements were more significant in the treatment group than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of CRP and ASO were decreased after the treatment in the two groups,and the decreases were more significant in the treatment group(P＜0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions was 6.90％(4/58)in the treatment group and 3.45％(2/58)in the control group,in which there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Fire-dragon moxibustion combined with acupuncture is effective in treating LDH of cold-dampness pattern.It can improve the clinical symptoms,reduce pain,improve lumbar function and lumbar mobility,and regulate inflammatory factors of the patients.The safety of the therapy is high,which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
