Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of triangular ligament repair after ankle fracture reduction and fixation on patients with ankle fractures.Method:A retrospective study was conducted on 100 patients with ankle fractures in Beijing Red Cross Emergency Medical Center from January 2018 to March 2024.All patients received ankle fracture reduction and fixation,and then they were divided into two groups according to whether the triangular ligament repair was performed during surgery,including repair group(n=56,triangular ligament repair)and non-repair group(n=44,without triangular ligament repair).The patients came to the hospital for follow-up visits every month after surgery.The ankle function and bone metabolism parameters before treatment and at 3 months and 6 months after treatment and complications after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:(1)At 3 months and 6 months after treatment,the American Association for Foot and Ankle Surgery(AOFAS)were increased in both groups,the medial clear space(MCS)were shortened in both groups,and the inclination angle of metatarsal bone were decreased in both groups,the AOFAS score of the repaired group was higher than that of the non-repaired group,the MCS was shorter than that of the non-repaired group,and the inclination angle of the metatarsal bone was smaller than that of the non-repaired group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)At 3 months and 6 months after treatment,β collagen degradation products(β-CTX)were decreased and osteocalcin(BGP)were increased in both groups,and β-CTX level in the repaired group was lower than that in the non-repaired group,and BGP level was higher than that in the non-repaired group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)There were no statistical differences in complications between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:For patients with ankle fractures treated with reduction and fixation,combined implementation with triangular ligament repair can promote the recovery of ankle function and improve the body's bone metabolism,and with high safety.关键词
