Abstract
Objective:To compare the clinical value of arthroscopic suture bridge technique(SBT)and arthroscopic modified press fit double row suture(MPFDRS)in the treatment of huge rotator cuff injuries.Method:This study used a retrospective analysis method,a total of 113 patients with huge rotator cuff injuries who admitted to Sanming First Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected and divided into SBT group(n=54,arthroscopic SBT)and MPFDRS group(n=59,arthroscopic MPFDRS)according to different surgical methods.The operation conditions(operation time,intraoperative blood loss,hospitalization time),pain degree before operation and 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation[visual analogue scale(VAS)],shoulder joint function[American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons(ASES)score],shoulder joint mobility before operation and 6 months after operation(shoulder flexion,abduction,external rotation in neutral position,internal rotation in body side)were compared between two groups.Result:The operation time of MPFDRS group was significantly shorter than that of SBT group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);there were no statistically significant differences in the intraoperative bleeding and hospitalization time between two groups(P>0.05).There were significant differences in VAS scores and ASES scores between two groups,time points and interaction(P<0.05);at 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation,the VAS scores of two groups were lower than those before operation,and those in SBT group were lower than those in MPFDRS group,the ASES scores of two groups were higher than those before operation,and those in SBT group were higher than those in MPFDRS group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 6 months after operation,the shoulder flexion,abduction,neutral external rotation and body side internal rotation of two groups were higher than those before operation,and those in SBT group were higher than those in MPFDRS group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Arthroscopic SBT and arthroscopic MPFDRS have their own characteristics in the treatment of huge rotator cuff injuries,although MPFDRS has a shorter surgical time,SBT performs better in relieving pain,improving shoulder joint function,and restoring shoulder joint range of motion.关键词
