Abstract
Objective:To investigate the predictive value of serum hypoxia-inducible factor(HIF)-1α combined with AGR2 for recurrence in patients undergoing transnasal transsphenoidal surgery for pituitary tumors.Method:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 120 patients with pituitary tumors who underwent transnasal transsphenoidal surgery in Xuzhou Cancer Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023.The patients were divided into recurrence group and non recurrence group based on whether they experienced pituitary tumor recurrence within one year.Serum levels of HIF-1α and AGR2 were measured at admission,and the basic data and biochemical indicators of the two groups were analyzed.Multivariate logistic regression and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis were used to evaluate the influencing factors and predictive value of pituitary tumor recurrence in patients undergoing transnasal transsphenoidal surgery.Result:Among 120 patients,25 patients relapsed within one year,with a recurrence rate of 20.83%.The levels of serum HIF-1α and AGR2 in the recurrent group were higher than those in the non recurrent group,the differences were statistically(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that HIF-1α and AGR2 were risk factors for recurrent pituitary tumors after nasal sphenoidal surgery(P<0.05).The area under the curve(AUC)of HIF-1α,AGR2,and their combined prediction of recurrence events in patients undergoing transsphenoidal surgery for pituitary tumors were 0.811,0.950,and 0.965,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion:Serum HIF-1α and AGR2 levels are risk factors for the recurrence of pituitary tumors treated by transnasal sphenoid surgery,and the predictive value of HIF-1α combined with AGR2 is higher than that of a single index.关键词
