摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the application effect of Beck cognitive therapy in elderly patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Method:A total of 78 elderly patients with stable COPD admitted to Mengchao Hepatobiliary Hospital of Fujian Medical University from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected and they were randomly divided into experimental group(n=39)and control group(n=39)by the random number table method. The control group received comprehensive respiratory function exercises, while the experimental group received Beck cognitive therapy in addition to the interventions given to the control group.Lung function, coping style[medical coping modes questionnaire(MCMQ)]score, rehabilitation exercise adherence, kinesiophobia[Tampa scale for kinesiophobia(TSK)],and quality of life[COPD assessment test(CAT)]were compared between the two groups.Result:Before the intervention, there were no statistically significant differences between the groups in terms of lung function,MCMQ scores,CAT scores, and TSK scores(P>0.05).After the intervention, the TSK score and CAT score in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the lung function levels, rehabilitation exercise total adherence, and facing dimension score of MCMQ were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Beck cognitive therapy can alter the coping styles of elderly patients with stable COPD,reduce their kinesiophobia, thereby enhancing their rehabilitation exercise adherence, promoting lung function improvement, and improving their quality of life.关键词
