Research progress of artificial hibernation technology and its central action mechanism
摘要
Abstract
Hibernation is a biological phenomenon in which animals respond to adverse environmental condi-tions through a highly conserved physiological adaptation mechanism.This phenomenon is characterized by the active downregulation of metabolic rate and core body temperature,accompanied by significantly suppressed be-havioral activity.Although humans lack the natural ability to hibernate,artificially induced hibernation has dem-onstrated significant potential in critical care organ protection,trauma recovery,and long-term space travel.In recent years,advancements in understanding the mechanisms underlying hibernation formation within the field of neuroscience have continuously emerged,driving the gradual development of artificial hibernation induction tech-nologies and highlighting their promising clinical application potential.This study provides a comprehensive re-view of artificial hibernation induction technologies and their neuroregulatory mechanisms,aiming to facilitate further research and development of hibernation mechanisms and artificial hibernation technologies in medicine and other fields.关键词
