摘要

Abstract

Objective To analyze the metabolic characteristics of tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer(CRC)patients with yellow greasy tongue coating(YGTC).Methods Twelve CRC patients with YGTC and nine patients with white greasy tongue coating(WGTC),as diagnosed by tongue diagnosis instruments,were randomly selected.Cancerous and adjacent non-cancerous tissues from these patients were analyzed using metabolomics and transcriptomics.Additionally,six CRC patients with YGTC and six CRC patients with WGTC were collected,and the previously sequenced results were validated through experiments of Oil Red O staining,Western blot,PCR,MDA detection,and ROS detection.Results Metabolomics and transcriptomics analyses revealed lipid metabolism disorders in CRC patients with greasy tongue coating.The key distinguishing feature of YGTC different from WGTC was the downregulation of fatty acid degradation pathway.Up-regulation of acylcarnitine,a key intermediate in fatty acid metabolism,was observed in CRC patients with YGTC,reflecting disruption of fatty acid degradation.Conclusion The changes in yellow and white greasy tongue coating of CRC patients can reflect the metabolic characteristics of intestinal microenvironment
