Analysis and improvement of drilling engineering design for deep coalbed methane pre-exploration in the Nanping exploratiom area in Huaibei City,Anhui Province
摘要
Abstract
A parameter well(NP-1)was drilled in the Nanping exploration area,Huaibei City,Anhui Province,as part of a coalbed methane(CBM)pre-exploration project.Non-coring drilling was employed in the first and second intervals,while wireline coring was for 100%core recovery in the third interval.As a frontier exploration area with limited prior geological data,the encountered formations deviated significantly from predictions,leading to poor drilling design adaptation.Despite the successful completion of the well,critical analysis revealed opportunities to optimize wellbore architecture,lost circulation management,and equipment selection.Based on field experience from this campaign,targeted design improvements are proposed to enhance operational efficiency,providing actionable guidelines for deep CBM exploration in the area.关键词
