Nation-wide survey of potential mineral resources:A practice in Anhui Province and a reflection on it

Abstract
The nation-wide survey of potential mineral resources is an important part of the survey of national mineral resources.It focuses on strategic minerals and dynamically evaluates the potential of mineral resources in China on the basis of the evaluation results of the potential of national mineral resources.The survey results can be used in decision making in the implementation of a new round of mineral exploration breakthrough strategy.In Anhui Province,the potential resources of 20 kinds of minerals were surveyed,and 2438 minimum prediction areas were delineated,the potential of each minimum area was predicted,and an evaluation was made on the prediction.According to the predictions,18 kinds of minerals have potential resources,and the number of predicted areas and the predicted potential resources are generally higher compared with the previous results of mineral resources potential evaluation.At the same time,some suggestions are put forward against issues encountered in this survey.关键词
