授粉对水稻颖花关闭的效应
Effects of pollination on spikelet closure in rice(Oryza sativa L.)

Abstract
[Objective]This study aimed to investigate the physiological mechanisms underlying spikelet closure in rice and explored novel strategies to regulate this critical reproductive process.[Method]Utilizing fertile varieties(Huazhan,Jiazao 70,Zhenshan 97B,Pinghui 141,Xinganzaozhan)and sterile lines(Zhenshan 97A,Boyou A,Yue 4A)as the materials,comparative analyses of spikelet closure dynamics and open-floret duration were conducted.Experimental treatments included non-pollination and artificial pollination with ho-mologous/heterologous pollen.Physiological measurements encompassed endogenous phytohormone levels(IAA,ABA,MeJA),spikelet transpiration rate(Tr),and intercellular CO2 concentration(Ci)during peak floret opening.[Result]The process of spikelets closure in both fertile and sterile rice varieties could accelerate ob-viously,the duration of spikelets opening was shorten at extreme significantly level,and the rate of spikelets closed in sterile rice was increased by pollinating rice pollen onto the stigma of rice,the pollination could pro-mote the spikelets closure,moreover,which was more significant for pollination with different varieties than with the same varieties in fertile rice.The spikelets endogenous levels of IAA increased obviously,but the ABA and MeJA decreased obviously just at the angle between inner and outer glume being the largest,and the spike-lets had just closed by pollinating in Huazhan and Yue 4A.In addition,the Tr and Ci of spikelets could also in-crease to some extent by pollinating.[Conclusion]These results suggested that pollination may be a crucial initiating factor for the closure of rice spikelets in hybrid rice seed production,and an emphasis should be placed on ensuring the synchronization of flowering periods and blooming time between parental lines.关键词
