摘要

Abstract

Different theories may be developed for the same management phenomenon and problem.Typology of theories helps researchers quickly assess the state of existing theoretical research and the relative value of their planned theory,and facilitates management practitioners to better understand the value of different management theories and choose appropriate management theory to solve practical problems.Based on four types of knowledge required by human being in solving problems,this paper proposes a typology of management theories.Finally,corporate life cycle is used as an example to demonstrate the application of our viewpoints and methods.
