Abstract

Based on a deep foundation pit project in Shanghai,the paper systematically studies the construction problems of ultra deep diaphragm wall with cross steel plate joints and their corresponding causes.Through analysis and study,it is found that the construction problems of underground disphragm wall mainly focus on the deformation of cross steel plate,the flow around concrete,the failure of ultrasonic detection,and so on.The results show that the failure frequency of ultra deep wave detection and cross plate deformation is high,and the incidence is as high as 39.0%and 37.3%respectively.The deformation of cross steel plate can be divided into six deformation types:outward inclination,multi-stage bending,bending,inward bending,outward bending and fracture.The six deformation types have obvious characteristics.The main factor causing the six deformation types is force balance.Among them,reducing the resistance of the reinforcement cage in the groove and maintaining the pressure balance on both sides of the joint are the most critical.In addition,the causes of flow around concrete and other problems are analyzed.Finally,the countermeasures for various problems are given,which can provide guidance for the construction of similar projects.
