Evaluation of Soil Nutrients and Heavy Metal Pollution Status in Ancient Tea Gardens in Menghai County

Abstract
To elucidate the soil quality status of ancient tea gardens in the Pu'er tea tea production area of Menghai county,Yunnan province,and provide scientific basis for optimizing nutrient management measures in ancient tea gardens from the perspectives of high efficiency,high quality,ecology,and sustainable development,and also provide theoretical reference for the long-term safety of soil land use in ancient tea gardens.The soil samples were taken from 25 representative ancient tea plantations in 11 tea-producing towns in Menghai county to detect soil pH value,organic matter(OM),total nitrogen(TN),total phosphorus(TP),total kalium(TK),cracked nitrogen(AN),available phosphorus(AP),rapidly available kalium(RAK),available sulfur(AS),and available boron(AB),as well as the content of four heavy metals:lead(Pb),arsenic(As),chromium(Cr),and cadmium(Cd).The proportion of soil pH value of 25 ancient tea gardens that meet the standard of high-quality fertility tea gardens is 84.00%.The proportion of OM,TN and AN content that meet the standards of high-quality fertility tea gardens is 96.00%.The proportion of TP and AP contents fit the standards of high-quality fertility tea plantations was 20.00%.The proportion of TK content reaching the standard of high-quality fertility tea garden was 44.00%,and the proportion of RAK content reached the standard of high-quality fertility tea garden was 80.00%.The AS and AB contents did not fit the standards of high-quality tea gardens;The contents of heavy metals Pb,As,Cr and Cd did not reach the standards of Yunnan soil background value and NY/T853-2004《Environmental Technical Conditions for Tea Production Areas》.The enrichment of AP,RAK,AS,and Pb is easily affected by pH value.The five elements OM,TN,TP,AN,and AB are highly positively correlated with each other.As is negatively correlated with Cr and Pb,and positively correlated with Cd.Pb is also positively correlated with Cd.The soil of the ancient tea gardens in Menghai county is suitable for the growth of tea trees,and the overall soil nutrient status is above average.The 25 ancient tea garden soils surveyed in Menghai tea production areas all in a safe state.关键词
