Abstract

Taking Binzhou City in Shaanxi Province as the research subject,based on Landsat,Sentinel-1 SAR data and land-use type data,we used the remote sensing ecological index(RSEI)and InSAR subsidence monitoring techniques to comprehensively evaluate the ecological envi-ronment quality of Binzhou City from 2018 to 2022,and conducted an in-depth analysis of the spatio-temporal factors affecting ecological quali-ty in Binzhou City.The results indicate an improving trend in the ecological environment quality of Binzhou City during these years,with RSEI values of 0.53,0.57,0.52,0.60 and 0.67 respectively.The Slope trend analysis reveals that the ecological environment in 80.24%of the area has improved to varying degrees.However,in areas of subsidence detected by InSAR,the RSEI primarily exhibits a declining trend,with a notable improvement in ecological quality in certain areas,which indicates that underground mining activities have a significant impact on the ecological environment.The predominant land-use type in Binzhou City is cultivated land,five-year proportion consistently above 55%,with a significant transition of grasslands into forest over the five years,amounting to approximately 99.41 km².The research can provide important theoretical ref-erences for ecological environment monitoring in industrialized cities similar to Binzhou City.
