Abstract

The vulnerability of the human-land coupling system is the key connotation to characterize the territorial space security and regional high-quality development at the county level,and is a key issue in the scientific exploration of sustainability.Based on the research foundation of urban vulnerability and resource and environmental carrying capacity,this paper analyzed the connotation of carrying"force"and constructed a research framework of"pressure—support—potential"of human-environment coupling system vulnerability,explored the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of vulnerability in 26 counties in the Three Gorges Reservoir area from 2010 to 2022,clarified the main fragility factors,and proposed classified control strategies.The results are as follows:From 2010 to 2022,the comprehensive vulnerability level of counties in the Three Gorges Reservoir area shows a significant downward trend,and the relationship between pressure and potential structure changes significantly.From 2010 to 2022,the county vulnerability pattern of the Three Gorges Reservoir area is generally distributed with the characteristics of"high reservoir head-low reservoir belly-high reservoir tail",the pressure level of reservoir belly decreases significantly,the support capacity and potential of reservoir head and reservoir tail increase significantly,and the vulnerability level approaches from higher type to lower type.The annual average precipitation depth,the proportion of construction land in the administrative area,and the investment in geological disaster prevention and control are the key brittleness factors in the reservoir area,and the main brittleness process is different in districts.Accordingly,differentiated management and control strategies are proposed for 26 districts in the Three Gorges Reservoir area in terms of optimized development,resource transformation,management and control improvement,and collaborative governance,so as to provide practical reference for improving regional security and promoting sustainable development.
