Research on emergency shelter renovations in old residential communities using simulation technology
摘要
Abstract
Emergency shelters are post-disaster emergency evacuation spaces that play an important role in ensuring urban safety and sustainable development. However, old residential communities have paid less attention to such spaces. Moreover, due to the shortage of land and the high degree of ageing in old residential communities, renovating emergency shelters have become a challenging task in recent years. In this study,we used a typical old residential community in Changsha,China,to design a dynamic evacuation evaluation model with the aim of quantifying the impact of old residential communities on the renovation of emergency shelters. In addition, multiple and diversified comparative simulation experiments were used to systematically validate the study results and enhance the study's reliability.Main conclusions are as follows:The three key influencing factors of the old residential community, namely, the proportion of aged population, the number and locations of emergency shelters and the capacity of emergency shelters, all have a non-linear impact on emergency evacuation.Through a comprehensive comparison, the impact rates of these three factors on the emergency evacuation results in the case area are 5∶6∶34.Emergency shelter renovations in old residential communities, unlike in general residential communities, should focus on reasonable distribution and the aging design on the basis of capacity limitations. This study aims to enhance the emergency evacuation capacity of old residential communities, and offers scholarly guidance for urban disaster prevention and mitigation.关键词
