Abstract

Since the impoundment of the Three Gorges Reservoir in 2003,the fluctuation of water level has induced a large number of reservoir landslides with intermittent deformation.It is very important to carry out time series deformation monitoring for understanding the characteristics of reservoir landslides and early warning of disasters.Taking the Outang landslide in Fengjie county as an example,based on interferometric synthetic aperturee radar(InSAR)technology,persistent scatterer InSAR(PS-InSAR),small baseline subset InSAR(SBAS-InSAR)and PS-SBAS-InSAR technologies are used to carry out wide-area time series monitoring of landslide deformation,so as to solve the defects of point information obtained by ground sensors in the analysis of landslide evolution characteristics.In this paper,31 scenes of Sentinel-1A orbit lifting data in Outang landslide area from 2018 to 2019 were calculated.By comparing the surface GNSS data,the monitoring effects of three kinds of SAR calculation techniques were evaluated.By analyzing the time-series deformation characteristics and mechanism of Outang landslide,the advantages of InSAR technology in landslide kinematic characteristics analysis and deformation zoning were clarified.The results show that the monitoring effect of PS-SBAS-InSAR is the best,and the average values of RMSE and R2 are 2.896 7 and 0.956 1 respectively.According to the monitoring results of InSAR,the Outang landslide is divided into weak deformation zone(-10 mm/a≤vslope≤0 mm/a),moderate deformation zone(-30 mm/a≤vslope<-10 mm/a)and strong deformation zone(-70 mm/a≤vslope<-30 mm/a);landslide deformation is closely related to rainfall and the fluctuation of reservoir water level,which is characterized by the largest deformation in the back,the second in the front and the smallest in the middle,and the larger deformation in flood season and the smaller deformation in non-flood season.At present,the Outang landslide is in a continuous creep stage,showing the deformation and failure mode of front traction-back movement.The interpretation of deformation characteristics and intensity zoning based on this method provides a new idea for fine monitoring and early warning of landslide disasters.
