High-efficient removal of aniline and Cr(Ⅵ)from water by Rhodococcus sp.PB-1 immobilized on γ-Fe2O3 magnetic chitosan microspheres

Abstract
Aniline and Cr(Ⅵ)are typical pollutants in printing and dyeing wastewater,and their direct discharge into water bodies severely threatens ecosystems.This study uses γ-Fe₂O₃ magnetic chitosan microspheres to immobilize Rhodococcus sp.PB-1,preparing magnetic chitosan microspheres loaded with Rhodococcus sp.PB-1(MCMR)for simultaneous removal of aniline and Cr(Ⅵ)from water.SEM,XRD,and FT-IR characterize the properties of MCMR.Single-factor experiments identify key factors affecting its efficiency in removing composite pollutants,while five reuse cycles demonstrate its reusability.The results are as follows:① Rhodococcus sp.PB-1 is successfully immobilized within MCMR;② The immobilized bacterial biomass and the amount of MCMR added significantly affect pollutant removal;③ Increasing the initial Cr(Ⅵ)concentration inhibits the removal of aniline,while a higher initial aniline concentration has no significant impact on Cr(Ⅵ)removal;④ During the first use,0.19 g/mL MCMR achieves 66.5%aniline removal(initial concentration 500 mg/L)and 72.9%Cr(Ⅵ)removal(initial concentration 20 mg/L);⑤ Reuse experiments demonstrate higher removal rates than the initial cycle.This study confirms MCMR as an efficient material for simultaneous aniline and Cr(Ⅵ)removal,providing a foundation for treating printing and dyeing wastewater.关键词
