广域电磁法在覆盖区含煤地层勘查中的应用
Application of Wide-Field Electromagnetic Method in Exploration of Coal-Bearing Strata in Covered Areas

Abstract
With the gradual depletion of shallow mineral resources in China,covered areas have become the primary focus of current geological prospecting efforts.Taking the Mabaotan coal exploration in Subei County of Gansu Province as an example,this work employed the wide-field electromagnetic method(WFEM)to explore coal-bearing strata in the covered area of the Tulu-Tuomatan Basin in Subei County.The distribution range of coal-bearing strata was analyzed and inferred in order to provide geophysical evidence for drillhole layout.Comprehensive research indicates that a minor uplift structure was identified in the 2550~2950 m section of the GPM01 profile in the Mabaotan exploration area,at a shallow depth of-145 m,with interfaces of various electrical layers showing uplift.Verification of the drillhole ZK-1 indicates that,coal seams were successfully encountered in the uplifted anomaly zone,with a cumulative thickness of 8 m.The encountered coal seams are located in the transition zone between high and low resistivity on the profile,which is consistent with the intermediate resistivity characteristics of coal seams.The geological conditions revealed by the drillhole align well with the inferences from the geophysical survey,indicative of the effectiveness of WFEM in exploring coal-bearing strata in covered areas.This study marks the first successful application of WFEM technology in Gansu Province for coal-bearing strata exploration in covered areas,which can offer a new and effective geophysical method for energy mineral exploration in the region.关键词
