Abstract

The ancient Woda landslide in the upper reaches of the Jinsha River in Xizang is currently in a reactivated creep stage.To determine the sliding range,trend,and depth of the sliding surface in the landslide area,this study deployed three high-density resistivity method(ERT)survey lines and three audio-frequency magnetotelluric sounding(AMT)survey lines along the direction of slope creep.The inversion results of the three AMT and ERT profiles indicate the presence of a low-resistivity slip-prone zone in the shallow layer of the study area.The low-resistivity medium is continuously distributed along the L1 and L2 lines,while it is sporadically distributed along the L3 line.The high-density resistivity method is more accurate in detecting the spatial distribution characteristics of the creeping body,while the AMT method has advantages in inferring bedrock morphology,lithological composition,and fault detection.By combining the strengths of the AMT and ERT inversion profiles,the sliding surface and distribution morphology of the creeping body were roughly inferred.The depth of the sliding surface may range from a shallow depth of over ten meters to a deeper depth of over fifty meters.The lithology of the survey line layout area is mainly slate and carbonaceous shale,with the development of reverse faults,which is consistent with previously published geological data and remote sensing results.This demonstrates that the combined electrical exploration of the high-density resistivity method and AMT can accurately identify the underground electrical structure of the landslide area and serve the prediction of the landslide body's range and trend.Finally,the consistency between the electrical method and InSAR in detection and understanding is elucidated.
