Abstract

In order to accurately evaluate the performance advantages of digital detectors in seismic exploration,this study has established a strictly controlled contrast test environment in Penbei 1 well area,northwest margin of the Junggar Basin.For the first time,an equal condition comparison between analog(SG-5 type)and digital(WING-DFU node type)detectors was achieved by using identical acquisition parameters(channel spacing of 25 meters,1800 coverage,1.5~96 Hz controllable source scanning)and full frequency amplitude preservation processing flow.Experimental data shows that the energy attenuation of digital detectors in the high frequency range of 60~95 Hz is reduced by 23%compared to analog detectors.The effective bandwidth of a single shot acquisition is widened by 1 Hz at the low frequency end and increased by 1.5 Hz at the high frequency end compared to analog detectors.After"double high"full frequency processing,the effective bandwidth is further extended to 2~72 Hz(widened by 33%at the low frequency end and increased by 6%at the high frequency end compared to analog detectors at 3~68 Hz).The pre-stack time offset profile shows that the digital detector has improved the longitudinal resolution of 20~40 meter thin sand body in the Baijiantan Formation,and the accuracy of fault boundary identification is higher.This study provides a quantitative basis for the high-resolution exploration application of digital detectors in low signal-to-noise ratio areas by eliminating systematic errors caused by differences in acquisition processing parameters in traditional comparative experiments.
