Comprehensive Potential Evaluation of Urban Underground Space Development Based on EVS Framework

Abstract
The comprehensive potential evaluation of urban underground space development is a comprehensive approach aimed at promoting rational utilization of urban underground space,enhancing land use efficiency,and improving the urban environment.Most existing evaluation systems are based on a single perspective,which lack comprehensive consideration of multiple factors influencing underground space development.Additionally,quantitative assessment of development potential and spatial variability analysis require further exploration.This study proposed a three-dimensional evaluation index system for the comprehensive development potential of underground space in hilly and mountainous cities within the Yellow River Basin.This evaluation system incorporates factors such as geomorphological and spatial conditions,geological structural conditions,geotechnical mechanical properties,hydrogeological conditions,and various constraint factors.We employed a multidisciplinary approach integrating 3D spatial analysis,the ICMM mathematical model,and other indicator-based evaluation methods.Combining with the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and fuzzy evaluation modeling,this work conducted a comprehensive 3D assessment of underground space development potential using EVS software.The methodology enabled high-resolution characterization of utilizable underground resources and their spatial distribution under 3D constraints,culminating in zoning management recommendations.A case study covering 65 km2 of Jinan's eastern expansion area demonstrated the efficacy of the system,which has achieved rapid and accurate evaluation of urban underground space potential at depths<-100 m.The research area was classified into four categories based on comprehensive potential:high,moderately high,moderate,and low potential zones.According to development feasibility,the underground space was categorized into developable,development-restricted(requiring caution),and non-developable areas.Furthermore,based on development suitability,the research area was divided into zones with excellent,good,fair,and poor suitability for underground space utilization.The findings demonstrate that this methodological framework significantly improves the precision and accuracy of comprehensive potential evaluation for underground space development in three dimensions.This study can provide more refined results and a more scientific basis for multidimensional underground space development.关键词
