摘要

Abstract

Foam for building insulation occupies an important position in the field of building energy efficiency due to its light weight,high insulation and easy processing.However,its flammability,insufficient mechanical properties and environmental problems limit its wide application.This paper systematically expounds on the classification system,compositional structure,and core performance characteristics of foam plastics,with a particular focus on the latest advancements in modification research concerning three critical performance indicators:flame retardancy,mechanical properties,and environmental friendliness.Through the introduction of new flame retardants(e.g.phosphorus,biomass and inorganic flame retardants),fiber reinforcement technology and environmentally friendly foaming process,the fire resistance level,mechanical strength and sustainability of the materials have been significantly improved to meet the diversified needs in the field of building thermal insulation and at the same time,achieve synergy between the foam and the goal of green and low-carbon development.The aim of this paper is to provide theoretical references for the multifunctional synergistic optimization of the physical and chemical properties and environmental friendliness of foams,so as to promote their wider application prospects in the fields of energy conservation,environmental protection and low-carbon buildings.
