摘要

Abstract

Pulmonary fibrosis(PF)is a chronic,progressive lung disease for which current treatments only partially alleviate clinical symptoms but cannot reverse fibrosis progression or cure the disease.Compared with traditional models and drug screening systems for pulmonary fibrosis,models and systems derived from pluripotent stem cells can better simulate the physiological char-acteristics and microenvironment of fibrosis,and also provide new means for subsequent treatment of fibrosis.This review summa-rizes the contributions of pluripotent stem cells-based models and drug screening systems for pulmonary fibrosis and their progress in treatment research,and discusses the challenges and solutions for their clinical translation.
