Abstract
Within the Liangxiangpo Flood Storage and Detention Area there are 12 rivers,including Zhejing River,Zhaojia Canal,Side River,Bami Ditch,the Old Course of Canghe River,the North Tributary of Canghe River,the South Tributary of Canghe River,Xiaogang Ditch,Liucun Canal,Beida River,Nanda River and Xiangquan River,etc.,which undertake the task of flood discharge from the detention area.The existing rivers(ditches)are used for water drainage,and flood water in the main drainage area of Side River and other large tributaries will finally flow into the Gongchanzhuyi Canal.The Bami Ditch,Xiaogang Ditch,the Old Course of Canghe River,the South Tributary of Canghe River and Xiangquan River have been either regulated or included in the scope of local government's regulation projects.The main problems of the remaining 6 channels are severe siltation and small cross-sections.In July 2021,the Liangxiangpo Flood Storage and Detention Area was severely damaged by an extraordinary storm flood,causing great losses and inconveniences to the production and life of the local people.This paper conducts a detailed analysis and argumentation on the current situation of flood control embankments and drainage engineering,points out the main problems,and puts forward the suggestions regarding the Liangxiangpo Flood Storage and Detention Area.关键词
