秋制越年秋用蚕种的综合性状研究
Comprehensive Characters of Autumn-produced Overwintering Silkworm Eggs for Use in the Autumn

Abstract
[Objective]The comprehensive characteristics of autumn-produced overwintering silkworm eggs for use in autumn were studied,which provided theoretical basis for the safe preservation of silkworm eggs,regulation of supply and demand of stored silkworm eggs and safely maintaining successive generations of different silkworm varieties.[Method]From 2019 to 2022,46 silkworm varieties for use in autumn were used as research objects,then the three-stage refrigeration method was used to prepared the autumn-produced overwintering silkworm eggs for use in autumn,and the silkworm eggs produced in spring for use in the autumn were used as CK to investigate the indicators such as the hatching situation,the number of diseased young silkworms in the fourth instar stage,the healthy pupa rate,the cocooning rate,the weight of whole cocoon,the weight of the cocoon shell,the rate of cocoon shell,and the egg-laying amount of the female moths.[Result]The autumn rearing performance showed that except for the rate of cocoon shell,the hatching rate,the number of cocooning silkworms,cocooning rates,healthy pupa rates,whole cocoon weights,weight of cocoon shell and amount of laid eggs of autumn-produced overwintering silkworm eggs for use in autumn were lower than those of CK.32 of silkworm eggs produced in autumn for use in the autumn reached the tested hatching rate(accounting for 69.75%of total amount),7 silkworm varieties exhibited higher hatching rates than spring-produced eggs.4 varieties showed higher cocoon numbers,6 varieties achieved higher cocooning rates and 8 varieties demonstrated superior healthy pupa rates.Cocooning rate ≥85%observed in 11 varieties.Healthy pupa rate ≥80%achieved by 17 varieties.22 varieties outperformed spring-produced eggs in cocoon shell ratio.5 varieties exhibited higher egg yields than spring-produced eggs.[Conclusion]Except for the rate of cocoon shell,the hatching rate,the number of cocooning silkworms,cocooning rates,pupa rates,whole cocoon weights,weight of cocoon shell and amount of laid eggs of autumn-produced overwintering silkworm eggs for use in autumn were lower than those of silkworm eggs produced in spring for use in the autumn.From the perspectives of safely maintaining successive generations of silkworm genetic resources,regulating supply-demand balance of surplus silkworm eggs in storage,and reducing breeding generations of silkworm germplasm materials,the application of appropriate cold storage technologies for autumn-produced overwintering silkworm eggs for use in autumn demonstrates the feasibility.This approach not only delays varietal degeneration and reduce operational costs,but also effectively minimizes the waste of surplus silkworm eggs in storage.关键词
