酸碱处理对自来水厂含铝污泥浓缩及脱水性能的影响
Effect of acidification and alkalization treatment on thickening and dewatering properties of aluminum sludge from water treatment plants

Abstract
The polyaluminum chloride(PAC)sludge produced in a water treatment plant was used to investigate the settling,thickening and dewatering properties of the sludge after acidification/alkalization treatment.The moisture distribution features of the sludge were analyzed by thermogravimetric-differential scanning calorimetry(TG-DSC)method to reveal the dewatering mechanism.The results show that after reaction for 2 h at pH 2.0 or 12.0,the Al dissolution rates from sludge were(73.24±7.84)%or(20.19±3.52)%,respectively.Compared to alkali treatment,the acid treatment is more conducive to Al dissolution.The settling velocity of the muddy liquid surface is 0.39 cm/min for raw sludge,2.16 cm/min for the acid-treated,and 0.91 cm/min for the alkali-treated,respectively.Compared with the raw sludge,the acid-treated sludge has seen a reduction rate in the sludge volume index(SVI)ranging from 61.5%to 90.7%,with an average of 73.7%,and that of the alkali-treated sludge ranging from 11.3%to 63.5%,with an average of 38.2%.Under the rotating velocity of 20 000 r/min for 40 min,the moisture content of the acid-treated sludge and the alkali-treated sludge decreases from 96.4%to 69.1%and 98.9%to 78.1%,respectively.After acidification treatment,the sludge has seen a reduction in the organic content and the surface zeta potential in the particle surface,with weaker electrostatic repulsion,more uniform particle size distribution,and denser particle structure.Dewatering properties are then effective improved.关键词
