Economic effectiveness of a new waste gas purification

Abstract
Using Aspen plus software,the waste gas purification process of a coking enterprise with an annual out of 3 000 kt was simulated,and the economic effectiveness of the traditional process and the optimized process in terms of energy consumption was evaluated through exergy analysis.The results show that after optimization,the new process cancels the repeated heating and cooling process of waste gas,bringing more reasonable temperature changes.This lowers the consumption of circulating cooling water,low-temperature cooling water and low-pressure steam,and reduces the use of heat exchange equipment.Through the comparison between the new process and the traditional process,the new process significantly outperforms the traditional one in terms of exergy efficiency,demonstrating its energy-saving property.The new process can reduce the operational costs of the enterprise,providing a feasible pathway for energy conservation,consumption reduction,and sustainable development in traditional coking enterprises.关键词
